CAMP FAQ
When does Camp registration open? December 15!
Do you offer an extended day option for camps at Wildrock? No. Because we are exploring and active from 9:00-3:00, campers are tired by the end of our camp day.
My child is 5. Can they attend camp? Our camps are for children ages 6-10 and 11-14. Please consider Wildrock next summer!
Why don’t you have themed weeks of camp? Nixing themes gives us more creativity and flexibility to do campers’ favorite activities! Every week of the summer will be different, and ALL weeks will include meeting animals, crafts, free play, outdoor activities and wilderness skills. We know our campers and want to have more flexibility to adapt programs to their needs.
What should I pack my camper? Campers should dress for play and bring a water bottle, lunch, snack, water shoes and a change of clothes. They should leave any toys or electronics at home. If your camper has noise cancelling headphones, fidgets or other items that will help them to be successful at camp, please let us know and pack those as well.
Birthday FAQ
I want to have my child’s birthday party at Wildrock. Can I bring decorations? You may bring decorations other than balloons—they are terrible for the environment!
Do you have indoor and outdoor space? Yes!
When are birthday party rentals available? Can we extend our party beyond the 2 hour window? We love birthday parties and offer two 2 hour slots each week–Saturday AM and Saturday PM. Check the calendar for the most up to date availability. We cannot extend the time because the host needs time to reset the playscape for other visitors.
What if I want to invite more than 15 cars to our party? If you would like to add more guests, please contact us at meg@wildrock.org at least one week in advance to see if accommodations can be made for an additional fee. Going over the person or car limit without prior approval will result in a $100 additional fee. Consider contacting us about renting the entire property for $500.
NOTE: Our birthday policy document answers other questions you might have–particularly around space capacity and private rentals.
