Teen internship opportunities
Wildrock is committed to supporting young people who share Wildrock's mission to promote the joys of nature play. Nature play is the gateway to scientific inquiry and a conservation ethic. Internships allow for meaningful work that significantly contributes to Wildrock's programming.
To participate, the first step is filling out this form. We will follow up with a brief Zoom interview. Once you have been accepted into the program, you will receive an invitation to come to the orientation in May.
Details:
Arrival time is at 8:30 each day at Wildrock (6600 Blackwells Hollow Road, Crozet) and departure time is at 3:45.
CITs assist Wildrock counselors in creating a joyful, safe, and engaging camp experience for all campers ages 6 to 10.
Most of the activities are outside.
Wildrock is a nonprofit and will verify community service hours for school requirements. Wildrock will also provide references for future opportunities.
Requirements:
Passion for caring for children and exploring in nature.
